Excellence in Flags and Sail Cleaning in New Hampshire

Our Story

About High Flying Flag Co. and Anson Sailmakers Inc.

Founded in 1981 in downtown Portsmouth, our business initially revolved around sail-making before transitioning to sail cleaning in the late ’90s. Operating from Greenland since the late ’80s, we’ve perfected the art of mildew removal from sails, covering a vast area from Northern Maine to Maryland. Additionally, our retail flag store High Flying Flag Co. sells thousands of flags yearly, providing flagpole installations for residential and commercial clients year-round.

Had damaged equipment on 2 flagpoles. Got a quick lesson on installed equipment, got rope, clasps, and some other goodies. The staff was great! Got both poles fixed and flag doing what flags do!! Highly recommended!!

Ben at High Flying Flag Pole Co. was a pleasure to do business with from first inquiry to flying the Stars and Stripes. We had a unique installation on this one and all of our requests were addressed. When I am shopping for another flag pole in the future, I’m calling here first.

Great people operate this place! They'll help you size your flag to your pole and give you the correct hardware and rope if necessary. Expensive, sure they are, but their products ARE MADE IN AMERICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 and made of QUALITY PRODUCTS. I've learned so much about flagpoles and the equipment associated with them from those who work here. Flags, poles, rope and hardware for all your flag needs here.
